hey guys, i'm curious to know what brands of oil coolers are made specifically for the ka24de? i don't really care about filter relocation, but things like space for oil press and temp sensors are necessary.

price counts, i'm looking for around 300.

was looking at the greddy adaptor and making my own AN lines, but there's so little space in that area. there isn't something like a tomei plate available?

thanks everybody.

Specifically for the KADE, I don't know any. Poweredbymax used to sell an awesome oil cooler kit. Mfactory has some pretty nice ones as well, but they come with a relocation setup.

It's cheaper just to piece together a kit. You need an oil distribution block (a screw-on one works fine, just check it for leaks - sometimes the O-ring needs replacing), some hose, an oil cooler core, and most likely AN->1/2" barb fittings. I added an oil filter relocater also, and ended up around $130 after tax IIRC from Baker Precision (for my SR).

I got mine from tmvtaylor on ebay. The kit seems great to me, but I have not install it yet.

my buddy has the mfactory kit. all i gotta say is too much hose. haha. doesn't come with an oil thermo either, but i suppose that shouldn't matter too much.

I built my own oil cooler kit using a B&M cooler, summit stainless braid + AN fittings, a greddy thermostatic oil adapter and some other stuff.

Total cost included turbo oil lines and fittings... for ~$250.

I think it's a nice setup (of course i would i built it), if you build it yourself you only need 10 ft of 10an oil cooler line. I got 15ft and have about 6 left over.

yeah the best route is to build your own.

Earls, B&M, seatrab, etc all make great coolers (greddy uses earls cores, which you can get for under $130 for a decent sized ones)

i went with xrp an fittings, hose, setrab 13x6 oil cooler, greddy oil adaptor.

the adaptor doesn't fit well, so i had to extend it using a 1.5" filter extension. the intake mani bracket, oem oil pres sensor, intake mani and motor mount are all on 4 sides.
used 45angle fitting, should of used 90degree, but it fits ok still. ran 40" of hose to the dr side of the radiator. should of bought 34" of hose.
