fucking rad, at the new house we're definitely going to have to invest in a cheap projector solely for that purpose.

...and "solely that purpose" equates to "watching movies on the side of the house", not "playing wii"

Quick question, what did you do for the IR bar thing that goes on top the tv? Make your own?

I thought about doing this one time but I didn't think it would work. I thought that the person would have to stand waaaaaaaay far back in order for the pointer sensor to work right, because i heard it was based on an equation that grew exponentially with the size of the screen. how far away did you have to stand?

nope, has nothing to do with the sensor bar. There are 2 solutions, 1 get a wireless sensor bar, or 2 put the wii up front and get A/V cable extensions to the projector & surround sound. Basically the sensor bar just has to be around 6-10 feet in front of you. You can also adjust the sensitivity on the wii for the sensor bar to dial it in perfect. The only thing that gets wierd in this setup is when you have an absolutely massive screen like his on the side of the house (probably in the neighborhood of 250-300 inches) but the sensor bar is alot lower than the screen, so you dont find yourself pointing the wiimote towards the actual screen but rather towards the sensor bar itself down below. This only matters for some games though like duck hunt, zelda, and other shooting games. For the most part wii sports works fine wherever the sensor bar is like boxing, golf, tennis, etc. Because they dont need you to point right at the bar to read.

question for the OP, how did you get the keystone to balance out at that great of an angle? did your projector have that much adjustment or did you have to do something else?
