I have a greddy downpipe designed for the redtop sr and I was wondering if the GT2871R will bolt to it with no problems? I haven't bought the turbo yet so I was just making sure I get everything a head of time. Thanks in advance.

I haven't picked a manifold yet. I'll probably go with a megan or something in that price range.

I believe your forgetting the turbo elbow.
Oh well.

Good Point. Is that the same or different?

Different
Exhaust manifold connect from the engine to the turbo, then turbo to the turbo outlet (which bend downwards), turbo elbow to the downpipe, downpipe to the straight pipe or cat, straight pipe or the cat to the exhaust piping, exhaust piping to the resonator, and resonator to the muffler.

Yes I know the elbow is different from the manifold, is the actual elbow different for the GT2871R than the SR T25?

There's another thread on that subject right now.
But I got the Greddy turbo elbow and it fit on to my S15 one no problem.
It has a larger slot for movement.

GT2871R are fitted for the T28 elbows. Most after market elbows are slotted so that one bolt will line up for either T25 or T28 turbo.
PS: If your interested on a full turbo kit...see my sig and check it out. PM me if interested...I could potentially save you LOOOOOOOTs of money and will be a complete bolt on...
