I am transplanting the 2nd, 3RD GEAR from the 1983 200sx.
I am also installing the 5th gear from the nissan frontier/silvia (CA18det).
What I need is a tooth count for it to mesh with the counter shaft. Does any one have that info.
I'm switching from the standard FS5W71c ratio's, to these ratio's from the FS5w71B and the FS5w71c from the truck transmissions.
Standard 240sx FS5W71C tranny gear ratio's
1st: 3.321, 2nd: 1.902, 3rd: 1.308, 4th: 1, 5th: 0.759
Custom built gear ratio's
1st: 3.321, 2nd: 2.246, 3rd: 1.415, 4th: 1, 5th: 0.838
