So I can out to get in my car this morning, and behold, I giant crease in my passenger door was staring at me. Needless to say that after about 15 minutes of profanity I called my insurance carrier. Found out that in VA the uninsured motorist law allows for no greater deductible than $200 when the other car is an unidentified vehicle. I still wished I knew who did it, I would damn sure take at least that much out of his hide. Oh well, just venting.
PS, if anyone knows a good body shop in the northern VA area let me know. I think I am just going to use this as an excuse to get the entire car repainted.

That sucks dood. My car got keyed and the emblems ripped off at a high school last friday night while I was watching my friends musical. The school has cameras and everything, but still no turn up of who did it. And my deductable is $500 Insurance adjuster should be here in a few minutes to look at the car. I know how ya feel man. Two huge key marks in my CF hood and one on the trunk hatch. Bastards.

My '93 got hit in a parking lot a while back too, also on the passenger side. Door, rear quarter panel, and the rear wheel were all fucked up, and the body work is gonna cost me $700. It sucks to get screwed....

damn that sucks
Well my car hit a steel pickuup doing 40 (not my fault) and cost for damage repairs were up the ass. Either way they cut me a check and I fix up my car (still working on it). BTW, the 240SX is not cheap when it comes to body repair or parts from the body shop.
Where in North VA do you live? maybe we can meet up and I will show you a shop that can paint your whole car for around $900...good quality. I couldn't go there because I need to save the money so I went to another shop in my area (Woodbridge) that painted my front end....very very nice for $600.
But I plan to recoat my car so that the new paint blends in with the rest of my car....but thats after I get a kit.

Yeah, that happened to me a few summer's back. I walk outside and see a huge crease in the passenger door...not exactly the happiest moment of my life... This world would be so much better if people just respected things that don't belong to them.

Live in Springfield. I sent you an e-mail, I would pay $900 for a decent paintjob in about 3 seconds.
