One of the two bulbs in my DCC have burned out and i'm having a hard time trying to find a replacement for it.
I have already tried the local part stores (Advance, Autozone, Radioshack etc.), at the junk yard pulling apart regular and digital climate controls from Altimas, Maximas, Sentras and a few 240's. I have even tried the dealership but they said they aren't able to look up parts for the silvia's.
..So if anyone could help me find this part I would really appreciate it.
Below are 2 pics of what it looks like.
On the bottom it has stamped 14v, 7, and the letter S circled.

Would it matter that this is 14v instead of 12v like most of the led's i'v seen?

I am having the same problem.
Japslapsilvia: I have 510 ohm resistors lying around from some forgoten project, would I have any problem using these with the correct size led to replace the bulbs in my DCC?
These aren't my pictures, but i'll post them in this thread since we are talking about replacing DCC bulbs.

Found a website that sells :
Wedge LED Instrument Panel Bulbs Type A, B & C
Below is their picture of what type C looks like - Can anyone tell me if this is the same as the bulb taken out of my DCC?
If so it would make my life a lot easier :hsdance:

Just a little update on this subject-
Received my led bulbs today but they needed a little trimming in order to fit into the DCC properly.
The below pic shows where the new bulbs need to be trimmed (On the back arch and on the hook)

And the results =

I got my LEDs in yesterday and they only needed a little bit of trimming to fit. I trimmed them just like the post above. I used White LEDs(5mm twist lock bulbs) for the Climate Control, and for all interior lights I custom installed White LEDs. I think it looks pretty clean. Thanks for the help.
These are some of the bulbs I used throughout the car.
The Dark Grey 5mm Twist Lock LED for the DCC is on the bottom left in pic:

Although I personally am going the LED route. I just thought that everybody who reads this post should also know that you're able to replace the bulb in that whole unit alone. The white part with the blue thing on top is just the holder, if you undo the wire wrapped around the bottom you can then take the bulb out and take it to radio shack to get a replacement. Also be sure to carefully remove that blue condom if you want to maintain the white appearance when the bulbs light up they are more amber, the blue condom helps keep it white.
