Need a ride on 5/9 from socal up to norcal!!

Hey Zilvians! I'm trying to get up to the Bay Area this friday, and I'm looking for a ride. I know it's a little short notice, but my original ride got weekends confused. So if anyone is going up to norcal this weekend, and wouldn't mind picking my buddy and I up from UCSB, that would be incredibly chill. We'd chip for gas too :)

Amtrak doesn't run by train all the way up to Norcal though, so the transfer onto bus takes EVEN LONGER. How lame, you'd think Amtrak would've waken up by now and built a complete track lol.

Yes it does, but it only has very few trains that run from Santa Barbara to San Jose.

Usually you have to book like a month or two in advance to get those trains...

So I guess I looked up Amtrak again, and I forgot about the Starlight train, but that takes 8 hrs!! Plus, those departure times are less than pleasant haha.

amtrak took me 11 hours once. so i decided to take greyhound home instead.
it's not bad, just get a bus that leaves at midnight, and sleep the whole way!

take the mexican busline! that shit is 4 times nicer than greyhound and half the price. Plus in cabin movies. I watched Kindergarten cop from Denver to Albuquerque! I'm sure there's some from norcal to socal.
