Ok so I installed a sr into my 240 and finally got it running only to have my clutch slip on me very badly. I installed a new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and master cylinder and it's still slipping. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing it?

check slave cylinder? Does it leak any oil? if the rear main is bad, oil can leak onto the clutch and cause it to slip. Or maybe look at pedal adjustment. Tons of things to look at

What kind of clutch was installed? How much power are you pushing? We need much more info on this.

I installed a act 6 puck clutch and the engine's stock. I've adjusted the pedal and bled the system a few times. The clutch will grab a little to get rolling but when you give it more throttle it slips.

adjust your pedal so there's a little play before it actually disengages the clutch, also check that your slave cylinder's push rod is not too long. you can do that by trying to jiggle the release fork a little bit. if you have a little bit of play then you're good. if you have no play whatsoever then (if you've already adjusted your clutch pedal) you can grind down a little bit of the push rod until you have a little play.
besides that the only other thing i can think of would be , if you installed the clutch disc backwards and the wrong side is facing the flywheel.
gl with it, hope you fix it

Check for oil in the gear box. If you have the little plate on front of tranny take it off and stick your finger in (engine cold). I blew a seal on the transmission bellhousing and thought I just sucked at driving until I found it was leaking.

I've heard that if the clutch in installed backwards it'll just grab instead of slip, is this true?
