damn, we just got the new insurance rates from the insurance company.  mine and my sisters went up 800 damn dollars.  it went down 100 on my 240, and up 800 on my mirage.  since im a secondary driver on teh 240 its only like 600 a year, and my mirage is 1900 a year.  

if i sold the mirage, and became primary driver on the deuce, it would be $4900 a year.

sorry i needed to vent, cuz 50 bucks a week is a lot to my high school ass.

what do you guys pay for your insurance

time to shop for new insurance company!

i think there was a thread on this earlier but nonetheless

23 yrs old
no moving/parking violations, no accidents. clean 100% perfect record
$250 deducatble and a bunch of high coverages (way above state minimum)
paying around 800/year

not bad. have state farm

That kinda makes sense...your a young male driving a pricey (repair wise) "sports" car.

I pay $200 a month (second driver) and I'm 19 w/one ticket and accident under my belt...NOT MY FAULT!!!! &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':nervous:'>

It just sucks that I could have had a badass car with all the money I put into insurance. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

I'm 24 with 97 240 and 02 sentra i pay bout 1900/yr full coverage on both no accidents few tickets one point on license

90 300zx tt insurance for a buddy of mine (FULL coverage) was around $2500 a year. &nbsp;Find a new company.

Ouch, you guys pay alot! I am an 18 year old male and I pay $800 a year for the minimum liability. Perfect record and good student discount.

i just got my good student discount taken away...... and I'm a 17 year old male, we have 7 cars between the four of us in my family. &nbsp;

i have no tickets or accidents.

my dad just got a ticket in my mirage though, so we cant change insurance companies just yet, hes gonna start shopping though. &nbsp;he gets good rates cuz hes an insurance pimp though. &nbsp;(people come to him, and he sends them to an agent to buy insurance from, and he gets money)

Well im 17 years old, in NYC, and i pay 4500 a yera for liability and thats under my OWN name, and no one else is on my policy, its pretty hot, im all responsible for crap now.. Sorry i pressed it once and it said, error. So i clicked it again.....

I will use this space to tell all that im getting my car sent to the shop for the sr swap either fri, sat or mon, cause the shop has no more ecu's so i might have to wait longer then expected...

you guys have it good, i pay 1710 for a 6 month policy on my 96 se thats &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 3420 a year, or 285 a month for full coverage with alstate on my parents policy

hahahahaha...

i paid $144 a month CANADIAN = approx $90 USD in my own name per month on my coupe

i got 2 tickets, it went up to $204, and now i'm back down to $145 because i just turned 20 with 4 years driving exp.

should be $160ish canadian when i get my 91+, but that is min liability.

and i just got a $1500 scholarship from school...

hahahahhahaha

Ouch insurance hurts... hah for liability on my '91 its like $600 every 6 months... 17 yrs old and I'm listed as the primary driver on the 240.

im 18 i pay 1.2gz a yr only driver car under my name 1way insurace from mercury

Dude thats nothing. I have AAA and they wanted 11,000 a year for full coverage on my car. Then again four points on my record doesn't help. thank god for liablity insurance, now i just need to be careful and not let my self hit anyone.

310 a month. &nbsp;500 dollar deductable on anything that happens to the car. &nbsp;Recent vandalism is about 700 bucks to fix. &nbsp;Subtract my deductable and they give me 200 bucks. &nbsp;WTF, why have insurance???
