Details on the new vehicle are still scarce, but BestCar is reporting that Nissan is planning to utilize a shortened version of the Z's FM platform powered by either a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter or possibly a 1.6- or 1.8-liter turbocharged four. this is VERY exciting news indeed

i wonder if article has anything to do with the hint that nissan gave at Nissan 360 last week that a strangely recognizable shaped car was displayed under a tightly stretched peice of cloth (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/04/29/nissan-360-the-design-future-and-the-new-380z/)

and also news of the infiniti 1 series fighter coming about within the last week as well...

i guess carlos ghosn was right in 2003 and 2004 when he was asked about the silvia...he said "around the time of the GTR release...keep your eyes and ears open and you might find a surprise lurking about"
