gtr's built to 09 spec, not 08 gt specs.... that is why

yes f1 but not jgtc. so if u win you get weighed down?...this is my first time hearing this,and the only motorsport ive seen it in. i dont understand the penalty. mabey starting the car in a diffrent pole position or adding time to there qualifying time (if they qualify like in F1) but weighing down teh car, thats weird to me. :-/

"Super GT is fairly unique in its open and blunt statement that it is committed to providing exciting racing first, at the expense of runaway investment by works teams. Cars are therefore very heavily tampered with by the governing body."

This seems like an excessive measure, however.

Well it is a known fact that Super GT is governed by Honda and Toyota. This is not suprising as this has been a well-known fact in Japan. So a lot of old-timers don't watch super gt cause Nissan is made not to win period. Its political not actual racing.
