The license plate number is 5CMR335.

Im posting this for my buddy (ayeyomoe (http://www.zilvia.net/f/member.php?u=67318)) whos filling out a police report right now. His red zenki s13 hatch was stollen sometime last night between 3am and 6am in San Jose on Union Ave. He has painted white stock rims, n1 style exhaust and a low drop. We just installed Ground Control coilovers that had Eibach springs and KYB shocks yesterday... thats a kick in the nuts if you ask me.

Some identifiers are a black front lip, damaged rear drivers side quarter panel, dark tint (5% back and 20% front) and a wingless trunk with black electrical tape covering the holes. He also had new Infinity speakers with the box and receites, an older Kenwood amp, Kragens headunit and ebay aluminum strut bar. He also had the stock suspension with cut springs and blown shocks along with a yellow DeWALT drill with 2 bit kits in black plastic boxes in the trunk.

Ill update this post with any other info or updates. Please keep a eye out for it and let us know if you see it. :sadwavey:

If theres any other information you guys think of that i should post just let me know!

[Pics]

These are the most up-to-date pics from yesterdays install, sorry i dont have any after pics... i was going to take those today. The drop looks pretty much the same though.

Before the coilovers were installed.

I'll keep a look out in San Jose. I should be able to recognize it.. It looks identical to mine, even down to the dewalt drill in the trunk.

I'm wondering if someone seen you install those shocks/springs, and decided they'd find out what else was in it.

I'll go activate my cars twin powers, maybe it'll lead me in the right direction.

Good luck bro, hope you get it back in one piece.

haha, thanks some funny stuff. I dont really think anybody saw us install them then stalked us back. We went to a meet right after installing them that had some nicer cars.

I personally think it was either the previous owner, or somebody thats seen the car parked on the street before (he lives on a busy street) and decided that night was the night.

Im not to hopeful about seeing the car again, but i guess hes going to cut his loses and try to find another 240... first thing this time is an alarm!

damn that sucks ill keep an eye out in sj too.

Thanks man, its always appreciated.

I used to know some areas to look in sj for stolen/abandoned cars, but most aren't around anymore. (most were random parking lots, or behind stores)

I was able to find my friends stolen integra a few years back, sadly the motor was already gone though.

Once I get a bit of gas, I'll drive around for a while and see if I can find anything.

I do know that some of the cars that have been stolen have ended up near/in Fremont. If you're not busy, you could see where about they were found and check out the area.

Just a thought.

Thanks for everybodys help and concerns, the police found the car abandoned in Los Gatos. The front seats, shift knob and drill are missing. We havent seen the car yet because the lot its being stored in is closed, but the police informed us that they tryed to mess with the paint.

Thanks again everybody, ill hopefully have pics up tomorrow.

I think they were trying to disguise it, but we havent seen it yet. It might just be graffiti or something.

Kind of strange that they just stole the seats and shift knob. Sounds like they had a shopping list and knew exactly what they wanted.

We got the car back today, its not that bad. Whoever stole it obviously wanted him to have it back because they dumped it in Los Gatos (wealthy part of town) and wrote "HA HA" on the roof using spray paint. Anyway, heres a list of what was stollen and damaged.

Stollen:
2 s13 front seats
Spectra (Kragens brand) air filter
Unknown brand shift knob
Cheap unknown brand head unit
New Infinity speakers (they left the box, receipt and warrenty)
2 OEM Rear speakers
DeWALT drill and 2 boxes full of bits
eBay rear strut bar
Kenwood amp
Handle to roll up the passengers side window

Damaged:
Ignition key lock was damaged to the point were it is unusable
Passenger side door panel was cracked while being ripped off for the speaker
"HA HA" tagged on the roof using black spray paint that was already in the car
Small dents/scrapes to the body
Covers for the seat bolts ripped off and damaged
Center console was ripped off while getting the radio, the extent of the damage is unknown

If you look carefully, you can see the "HA HA" tagged on the roof.

Clay bar the roof.

If that doesn't work, wet sand with 1000 grit, finish at 2000 grit, polish, and wax.

At least it's in one piece.

Glad to see you guys got it back though!
