Hey,

My buddy have a 96' 240sx with a s13 redtop with a safc2. I was just wondering if you can replace a safc2 with a vafc2, because his safc2 just died, and he needs to replace it.

It will work the same. It is also used on Mivec motors but please forgive some of the nissan tards that think they are soo superior to any other car brand!

the VAFC is also an air to fuel controlling computer, just like the SAFC, it just has extra applications inside for controlling vtec engagement. The VAFC2 is also compatible with iVtec motors in the newer SIs and RSXs... I actually have one that I can sell if you're interested.

I would assume you could use it the same, the wiring is the same with just one extra wire for the vtec swtich (sel).
