i've been having my friend drive it twice a week and he said the idle had been weird for the last few weeks. now we know why. he didn't bother to check under the hood :hammer: i gotta check out what those fuckers chewed up when i have some time. DAMN RATS!

WTF?

Did they get inside your intake?

Funny if a rat was chillin in your intake pipe then your friend started the car up and drove away. The rat woulda had fun going through your combustion chambers. Better than a dry shot of nitrous!

Using Rats to run along a wheel to spool a turbo? That's AWESOME!

(Should have used a cage though, everyone knows rats' favorite food is stock intake piping. Duh.)

I can beat that. I found a half eaten cookie on top of the battery and half chewed up injector wires. And I drove my car everyday when this happened. Too bad no nest of any sort.

This happend to my 1987 Maxima that is currently being put back on the street. Rats had an assload of acorns everywhere, they chewed the hood cover, the wires, they left crap all in the inside, and one even died in the dash and started to rot.

mothballs people keep mothballs in and around your car when storing it. Christ, a box of mothballs doesnt even cost a dollar.

oh man. that sucks.

something similar happened to my uncle. something chewed through the lower engine harness on his truck. 30+ wires had to be spliced. he was pissed.

hahaha first non-american rat rod ever... just needs flat black paint, white walls, and even worse fitment.

Nice! When I removed my bumper while I was doing an IC setup, I found a rat nest in my bumper support. It still had pieces of avocado in it from my tree. LOL.

That's better than a cold air intake. :] haha If I was you I'd check every single line, I bet they chewed on a few vacuum lines and others..

I hesitate to drive my car now because the rats have made nests in both fender/firewall cavities, in the dash crossbar, in the heater, in my trunklid, and inside my fiberglass hood.

I took all the nests out, but the car still smells like rat urine when I drive it.

I've tried to kill them with traps and whatnot, but the only thing I've gotten to work was smashing one with a big rock.

wow that sucks. This may sound really ghetto, but try febreeze. I haven't sprayed it on a car, but i have sprayed it on solid things like trash to make it stop stinking, and who knows it might juss work
