I've read a few post about people trying to find rack and pinions around socal and usually their like 120$+. Well I went to this place today in LA that charged me 60$, thats with mine. If you don't have your own its 80$. But anyways, they'll rebuild it for you in like 2 hours. Just thought I'd share with you guys since I know alot of our racks are getting busted. I'm not like advertising them, I just thought I'd let everyone know. Here's a pic of mine afterwards incase anyone wants to see.

Call them up first, cause I asked about the 240SX racks and they didn't have them last week, or this week. If not have the guy call you when they do or something.

Can anyone take my rack & pinion off during the weekend. So I can get it rebuilt?

Cause I called them and they said they cant take it off but only rebuild and I dont want to pay to get it done nor do I have tools to attempt it.

Damn last time I paid $115 and I supplied my own rack. And for some reason they painted the whole thing blue.
I guess I know where I'm taking the beat hicas rack sitting in my garage. Thanks for the info.

Haha LOL @ the price jump.

Great prices though, especially if they'll rebuild while you wait (those of you with HICAS racks need to keep an eye on them at all times).

Definitely let us know how that turns out. I haven't replaced the rack in the JefeS14 yet, and I know dragging around 275/35's in the front isn't going to be doing anything positive to that old rack.

all really depends on me finding a spare P/S s13 pump
