Hella Norcal Super Bbq Meet!!!

Ok all,

So as the title states, this is going to be the first of many HELLA NORCAL BBQ meets during the summer.

The name is so graciously stolen from the original Hella Norcal meet, setup by Sean and his super sick ass "GOON".

The meet went well, and since then I have offered up my house for another meeting spot/party with BBQ. So here is what I got so far.

The BBQ will be the 2nd to last saturday of May. Which for those of you without calendars, its Saturday May 24th.

(EDIT EDIT EDIT) To many people cant make it to my original planned BBQ date because of local drift events and other meets, so date is changed to JUNE 7TH. Its the first saturday in June. I think that will work better for everyone and allow more people to show up.

It will still start at 12noon and rock on till 7pm or so.

I will be providing the place, my BBQ, the first KEG of beer, some food and music.

You will provide yourself with your S chassis car and a good attitude. (s chassis car not necessary as I know some of our cars are not running at the moment.)

If you want to bring some stuff then please feel free and let me know. I will have extra table space for people who bring stuff. This is open to any and all zilvians and their family/friends who want to come.

My house is on roughly an acre of land so there is plenty of space to have a party. Be sure to reply to this thread so I know you are coming. Or atleast I get a rough idea of how much stuff I need to buy ahead of time.

My only rules are as such:

1) no fighting
2) no underage drinking
3) everyone is gone by 7pm at the latest.

I am a club DJ and I have to work that night so if everyone is gone by 7pm then that gives me enough time to somewhat cleanup and make it to the club for work.

Had a great time, fellers! The "freaking 20 people" headcount went out the window, though. To the eight people who made an appearance, I had a blast, and we'll have to do it again! Me, Vince (my friend), Kurt, Scott, Nelson, John, Logan, Chris, we'll kick it again, for sure. And by "kick it," I of course mean kick it HARD!

To those that promised a show and didn't make it, you're not part of the club. The super-secret vinyl that will only soon become discussed will be ours for the keepings.

Just to let everyone know, Vince (my quiet buddy at the get-together) just bought an 89 Hatch yesterday. I drove the POS back to his house, and... well, suffice it to say, if you were on Sunrise or Madison yesterday around 4, and got drowned in a cloud of thick, white smoke.. I'm sorry!

The SOHC is blown, so we're swapping it for a dual cam, and just fitting some respectable, cheap mods for the time being. Kind of have a motor lined up already, so hopefully in the next few weeks, we'll have everything we need to swap over!

If anybody wants to lend a hand, or has some parts laying around, let me know! We're getting an S14 motor, so we need to swap the ECU, MAF, Intake Mani, Wiring harness and distributor...
