I have a OBDII KA with the stock fuel filter and I'm trying to upgrade to the Z32 fuel filter. For some reason my fuel filter hoses won't budge and I'm afraid I'm going to bend a hardline. Is there a special tool to take off the hoses?

or just spin the filter till it breaks loose in the hose then wiggle it off.

It's stuck there. It won't budge at all. We've done it on my friend's S13s and it came off fairly easily, but for some reason on my S14 it won't come off at all. Is there some kind of tool that I can use?

I might just do that.

And I've had 4 people try this and no avail. We even used pliers and prying it off with a screwdriver.

you need to buy a new filter, new hoses, and new clamps or else you'll have a fuel leak.
Just use silicon spray or even wd40 if you realllly dont want to cut those old hoses (which you should never reuse).

i just want to agree with everyone..
cut the old crusty ones off, make sure you don't reverse them, install the fuel filter in the correct direction, buy new rubber hose. autozone stocks goodyear rubber hose. make sure you use good quality clamps, worm type sucks, spring type sucks, the kind that have a screw in them are great. kind of like a mini t-bolt clamp.

...I mean if you really want to preserve the rubber hose, maybe you can spray some WD40 to lubricate it so it will slip off
