Anybody else direct deposit their tax refunds?

The IRS site says that if you direct deposited your tax returns then you will be among the first to get that 'help the economy bs' check deposited if your account- on the 28th. Anybody care to speculate on when the funds will be there? I'm anxious...I have a front end I need to buy...

Direct deposited my weak-ass $100 state refund though, but it's state, so that doesn't really help you.

The notice I got concerning the stimulus payment said they're going to begin sending it out in May. So if you direct deposited your refund, you may see it as early as a week or two from now, or as late as July? It'll probably take a while for them to get them all out.

It depends on how you asked for your refund (or paid your tax), on your tax return. You'll receive your stimulus payment the same way.

I saw the same thing you did...but was curious why, if they are 'starting' direct deposit today why it would take until the 16th of may to receive a direct deposit...yeah it'd be a lot of transactions for the IRS to do at one time to do everyones DD, but cmon, they do that shit like clockwork all day long

I paid like $40 to electronically send it and direct deposit it. I got a ton back so I was impatient. I had a ton of write off's because of my English Bulldog's. If you check IRS.com it might say that it has been direct deposited but when you look in your account it's not there, that's because it's direct deposited into Santa Monica then forwarded to you. I got worried for a couple day. Just stating what happened to me.
