Well, I was going to put the Jeep in storage this weekend, and start driving one of my 240s. That didn't happen..... We ended up getting 8 inches of snow last night. Fallowed by some of the worst road conditions I have ever seen.

It's damn near April, I won't see snow again until at least December, but more likely late January.

Ya it was around 60 all last week. Got nasty windy later thursday. was 25deg when I got up yest and then started snowing.

I will take some pics in a bit. My dad called and said the snow drift on side of our house is 6-8ft tall. We got more snow over night, for a total of 10-11inches. 40 miles to the south they got over 2 feet!

Basically the same as what happened where I live. It was in the 70ish range one day about a week ago here (I even had the T-tops off on my Z) and not a cloud in the sky. Woke up in the morning to a foot of snow.

If you live anywhere that gets a definite and seasonal change that is winter (especially a place like Canada for example) you're not really in the clear for no snow and sub zero temps till mid-May or so. Still, it can even happen past that. My father grew up in Canada and remembers a year they had a small blizzard in the first week of June. Didn't last, but it was still snow and wet.

Many places are colder right now then previous years avgs'... We're about 15-20 below normal here right now. Usually it's never below freezing, even at night, by now. It's only about 28 or so right now at midday.

Still snow on the ground here.

To think, this happens like every other year, all the snow plows were put away and all that shit for storage. The main streets were barely touched after 36hours.

haha those suckers in alberta still have snow. I have clients I am speaking to in Alberta and one of my colleuges went for a business trip to Alberta for a week. He said it was -10 on average and snowed lmao... I am so glad snow is gone...

I hate snow too, nothing better than the Mediterranean sea (which I miss and don't have now) :) But I still love Canada

Yep, we also had a huge snow storm in Calgary; 2nd week of April. Had to park my S14 back in the bloody garage for almost a week. Bloody depressing! Looks another 2 days of snow/rain starting tomorrow :ugh: Oh well I guess Silvia goes back in the dog house again! bullox!

Well its time to see what my WRX is made from:

A BLIZZARD WARNING/WATCH is in effect for most of the Central Red River Valley beginning early Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning. A powerful winter storm will bring heavy snow and strong wind to create dangerous conditions, the worst will be Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening.

TODAY: A few inches of snow, 3-5 south, 2-4 north as a cold front stalls over the region. Snow will end by late tonight. This will occur in conjunction with the intensifying Colorado Low that will bring the potential for a major winter storm Tuesday. Temperatures will fall during the afternoon as cold air moves in. The wind is gusting to 30 mph in west and northern areas.

TUESDAY: Snow and blowing snow will continue, with very heavy snow intensifying during the afternoon. This is when some areas could pick up significant accumulation with as much as 20" of snow. Combining that with 30-40 mph wind could make travel impossible in some areas. Temperatures won't climb above the single digits, and wind chill values will drop as low as -35.

I didnt have a problem yet with my 1st WRX with Ipikes. I now have one with a minor drop and Dunlop wintersports. Time for fun!

i posted this a year ago almost. when i was driving a fwd, open diff, automatic corolla on all seasons. now im in a rwd, LSD, manual bmw on snows. i LOVE when it snows. :bigok:
