ok, under the fuel rail there are 4 rubber grommets that are in between the rail and the intake mani. I have lost one, and I cannot find it under the car *smacks forehead* If anyone knows what I am talking about, can you tell me if I will leak fuel and whatnot. I need to drive the car but I am worried I am going to leak fuel. It seems very tight and I plan on replacing it asap but will the car be ok until then.

JEJEJEJE. That reminds me when I installed my engine. I lost two. I drove my car like that for like two days with no problems, the only really thing affected is the alignment of the fuel rail a little I think. You should be OK but replace ASAP.

Are you sure they are rubber? Are you talking about the sr or ka engine? If you are talking about the sr, I have 3 of those plastic spacers that go in between the rail and injector rail.

PM me if this is what you need. Email me at [email protected] if you want pictures.

I am the only Sr20det down in Key West. they might be plastic, im not talking about the rubber grommet in between the injector and the hole. this is on the fuel rail itself

yeah, you can have a pretty good size intake leak. you can go to any parts store and ask for an injector seal kit. its like 5 bucks...it comes with that piece as well as the o-rings for the injectors. i would recommend buying it soon

People are still confused here.

There's two parts in question:

1) Rubber grommet between rail and intake manifold, in the opening of the manifold. There's four of them.
2) Plastic spacer that rises the rail off the manifold. There's two on a KA, three on an SR.

Which one do you need? KAs use the same one for both places.

now you are confusing me, why is it so hard to find a picture of what im looking for

ok, if you were take off the entire fuel rail, you would need to unscrew 4 bolts that hold it to the mani. the grommets im talking about are UNDER these screws and go in between the rail and the mani. im not talking about the rubber ones that sit under the actual injector.

You're confusing yourself too. You just used bolt and screw in the same sentence.

The spacers that sit under those bolts are plastic. If indeed that's what you're talking about.

very important. youd be spraying the air with fuel without them. rubber.
5 bucks each . they come in package with orings etc, there are no pics because you didnt take any pics when you disassembled

I think the thing you're looking for is #17520J on the following diagram.
http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasite/240sx-s14-1995-1998/genuine-nissan-parts/fuel-engine-control/164-fuel-strainer-fuel-hose/-c-3690_3691_3707_3709.html

Clicking on 17520J takes you to this page:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasite/17520j-spacer-fuel-tube-240sx-s14-1995-1998-p-134510.html

You can call them up and get the actual Nissan part number.
Personally, I have decided to never shop from Courtesy Nissan ever again.
They have proven to me time and again that their staff is incompetent.

I still use their website for the diagrams, though.

Did you drop it when installing the fuel rail? If you did, I'm 90% sure it's stuck between the starter and the block. When I cleaned up my engine, I found those bushings and misc bolts hiding back there.
