first of all, i know this is a honda question in a nissan forum, so thats why i put this in off topic.
ok so here is my question.
my gf just purchased a 2006 civic EX which she thought came with xm.
when she went to activate the service they said that since the original buyer did not choose to have the xm radio, it is xm ready, but not equipped to use xm without a kit?
what does she need to purchase to make the xm radio work with the FACTORY headunit, not the aftermarket kit you mount on the windshield?

Go to Honda and get the XM radio kit. It's supposed to add XM functionality to an "XM Ready" headunit.

It runs $230~$240ish depending if you have the 8-cd changer or not.
