oem exhaust valves are stainless correct?

what is the benefit of running bc (or any aftermarket) valves on the exhaust side if oem is already ss?

they are usually coated with either Inconel or black nitride which add more strength, they are also forged which adds to the strength, depending on how they are made they are lighter, and give you better flow, not to mention if your running certain cams, they will come into contact with them if they are oem, thats why most more extreme cams recommend using aftermarket valves and retainers.

why not, if you have the money, have them flowbench it and do a 3-angle job, might as well since your building the head, do it right once than in small steps
