Circuit Sport or Apex Noir Exhaust

I've doing a lot of research and I've narrow it down to the two. Since i'm in Socal, i don;t want to atrract cops. I just want to know which one you would choose between the two. i'm leaning more towards the circuit sport, but from what I read, it hangs pretty low compared to the Apexi Noir.

If you're not ruling out used exhausts, you might also consider a Fujitsubo. It does hang a little low, but it's super quiet.

The Noir is supposedly extremely quiet as well, but you probably knew that already. =P

I would pick the APEX Noir. I have heard lots of people who had it say they liked it.

I heard somewhere that the Apex has a 4 in. tip. The cs looks pretty darn close to stock. Check out this months issue of Project car, they used the cs and it looks very subtle

The main reason foe leaning towards the CS is because the tips look stock and it doesn't draw too much attention, compared to apexi's 4 inch tip. The 4 inch tip kinda kills the whole stock look. Plus I think the CS will look better with my Type-X rear valences.

like everybody says it comes down to the tips. cs has stock looking tips. noir has a big single. the noir does sound nice and quiet though. never heard the cs.

i actuallyed just order the CS from FRsport today. Its on back order for 2 weeks. i also order the CS exhaust hanger bushing kit to eliminate the sag I have been reading about. There was another s13 that had paint coming off the rear bumper from the exhaust. I hope this doesn't happen to me. Its freaking hard to match candy paint.

steve has the CS on his car. Still made well over 400 horse. Sounds quite at idle and around town, doesn't look ricer. Get that.

I had the Noir on my S13, (still do, but plan to sell the car with it on there) - it's quiet, but deep. The 4" tip is cool; it's big, but since the whole thing's black you really don't notice it.

I belive the CS are 3" tip correct? for a NA KA there no need for a 3", you only get little gain on power.. correct me if im wrong

The piping is 3 inch.

The Exhaust tips are like 2 inch. Two of them

Just like a slightly bigger version of stock muffler.

Nice and throaty until the external wg dumps.

I have a Circuit Sports. Car is CA18DET + tubular mani + 3" turbo back w/ test pipe. It's pretty quiet, sounds nice too. I put up a Youtube video a while back, sound quality is kinda meh but it gets the point across:

Only bad thing is the middle resonator hangs pretty low. Or maybe I just need new exhaust bushings. I dunno.

I've seen and heard both

The Noir has a 4 inch tip - will still get you pulled over
The CS - just paint it black, its louder

disregard "how it hangs".

they are all pretty much the same basic design and therefore itll go pretty much in the same place between the diff and sub frame.

cut and re-weld hangers, takes like an hour.

or take it to a shop if you don't have a welder.

circuit sports ftw...i have one and i havent gotten an exhaust ticket in two years...i live in glendale/burbank area...for those who dont know thats all the cops do around here is fuck with car modders haha...i have the cs bushings too...doesnt scrape anywhere except for the resonator ONCE in awhile...if i have no choice but to bump it on something that is...

Is the burnt bumper from the exhaust? What mods do you have on the car. I be pissed if the exhaust burnt my bumper. Have you ever thought of using carbon fiber or aluminum to cover the are above the exhaust like the Subies do. I've seen on WRX and STI's and the Legacy's are sporting them now as well. It will save you on repainting your bumper.

I have the CS and I love it. I had a 3" catco cat and I swear stock exhaust was louder lol Now I have a test pipe and it sounds great. I have the CS 1pc elbow/down pipe and the cat back. Sleeper. Poh-Poh proof.

lol idk i can re do it just lazy to do soo...my dad and i do body and paint...i like it lol and it's gotten worse...um mods, bolt on mania,c.s. elbow, hks down pipe, dme test pipe, and C.s. cat back, built heads cams etc,gt28,and 740cc,w/power fc,bla bla bla...despite that its still quiet...C.s you wont regret it...
