I had this problem b4 but i though i fixed it and now it happened again. My head light (1992 s13) will not go down for some reason. Checked all fuse already, but the one that stop my headlight from flippping down is the RET MTR fuse in the fuse near the coolant resevoir. Everytime i put a new fuse in and click the headlight flipping button it would pop that fuse. So can someone show me a way to diagnose this short? Thanks in advance

sounds like its time to trace some wire bro. As screwed as it may sound its the only real way to make sure. I mean you can take a volt meter and test resistance in each wire on your service position button and that will give you a better idea as too which wire is failing or grounding, but in all reality I would just trace the group of them from the back of the button all the way to the fuse box and im sure you will find the problem. Feel free to pm if you have anymore questions. i will do what I can from here.

if you have a power probe you can power the motor down with that and if it pops the fuse in the power probe then you can be absolutely sure that the problem is the motor itself. but based on speculation i think you should try a known good motor.
