Yeah, I was looking into them a while back, i forgot where I found it but I found reviews on them.......they were pretty shaky. I've never delt with them so I can't really say. Google them Im pretty sure that's what I did. The bad reviews were for swaps and stuff like that. Hope that helps.

I had them install a Hotshot header back in 04' and they managed to F that up by somehow installing the gasket incorrectly. I have read nothing but neg stuff about them, so stay away for your own good.
I found out a year after I bought my car that they actually owned it, but luckly they never did anything to it other than put on a set of weaksauce offset wheels.

I picked up some aero from them, it was a good deal, and they were nice. If thats what you are looking for, you should be fine.

dont go there... they dont have any of the cars advertised online.... they are either "sold" or about 25-50% ABOVE market value. all the good deals(2k or under) are sohc, primered, salvaged, or parts cars. and any thing decent is 3500+, they wanted 3300 for bone stock s13 dohc hatch... sed it was in good condition.... rust is not good condition.... what they do is get youngsters to finance a 4k dollar car with 20% interest rate with only 500 down.... 5k for a stock s13.... i got a blacktop coupe, with silv front end conversion, sport max 001 15" rims, catback, and lsd. for 8k from them. and then it got impounded due to my catback so i had to trade it back with them and the only thing thye said they can give me is a fken fastback with a vertex kit and sport max rims. KA sohc. no lsd, exaust, or decent ka engine was given back to me. plus the dash has like 9,000 cracks its ridiculous. chipped tint that u cant even see behind.
Did that car happen to be primer with horrible interior and horrible fitment on the kit. Because i saw the car on the website so me and my brother decided to go out all the way to riverside to check it out.. they had totally lied they say it was running perfect.. when we went to check it out the engine was shot. Horrible service.. stay away from it and check your local craiglist.. alot better

yah i'm friends with them and pretty much it comes down to this
Sales Reps
- they used to be good. when mike and fingers worked the counter and handled parts
- since then mikey moved up north with his lady. fingers started his own shirt business
Mechanics
-Eric was awesome. did great wiring installs on s13s, hondas, mr2s, 1J, and 2J swaps. He became an LEO
-Alex. was nuts. he rebuilt a FD 13B and did 2 SR swaps in one nite at the shop. the guy was a maniac in a good way.
Long story short. The ones who were hired on to replace them don't have the years of experience as the previous guys had. Also the shop stopped selling parts as they used to previously.
With that said, the shitty cars you guys speak of are being taking off site. To a larger warehouse. So they can actually be looked at and gone thru properly. Previously and currently cars were being checked quickly and resold. This was due to storage constraints. Things will improve and are headed back towards what they were previously.
Also on autotrader. those cars you see that end up already being sold isn't there fault. autotrader updates there own site independently. so if a car sold some time ago and it still is on autotrader. it isn't the sellers fault.

I bought a FC from them before they moved locations. 110k miles, RB front and rear sways, RB springs and Tokico blue shocks (great on an FC), stainless oil lines, a Mazdaspeed intake, clean complete interior and clean body with shiny paint. 2k flat. I would have recommended them to anyone.
Since their move I've heard nothing but crap about them, mostly about them selling slightly modded stuff to noobs for an inflated price. Sad. Still, it's not like I haven't thought of selling shit to noobs, just don't have the capital for it. If they're going to get mommy and daddy to buy a drift car without doing any proper research, they deserve what they get.

definitely stay away, i went there just seeing if they had a clean title shell, the dude started trying to BS me and tell me they could get them to run and they can do auto to manual swaps for like 2k i laughed in his face and told him i just want a shell i'm not some newb fuck without a clue about 240's they wanted like 1500 for a non running car bone stock, anyways once he found out i might have a clue he changed his story totally and was like "oh you definitely don't want one of these then you should try craigslist or autotrader like you said you were already doing" fuckin bogus dudes trying to scam people turn around and never look back:fawkd:

stay away from proto!!!!! about 2 years ago i went to look for an s13. they advertised that they just swapped a newer KA into it and it ran perfectly. When i got there, the car wouldn't even start and the wiring looked super ghetto.
most of their cars have been in wrecks before also, or have had some really bad history. they buy cars in bad condition for cheap and throw some paint and a body kit on it and try to sell it for a lot more than it is worth.

Proto is the most horrible place ever.... they tell you one thing to get you there, and then when you are there they show you the car and the cluster isn't even in it, their storage place looks like a junkyard for cars, just terrible

before they seem to have been alright but now if you go there it seems like the new guys there are like kids and dont really seem to know what their doing, but the owners james & arnold are pretty cool. james seems to know what he talks about but not the new guys they got there.
But yeah just try to stay away
