newb 1jz in s13

im an mk3 owner pulling my single 1jz 600hp setup witch is not much in a supra and im dropping it in to a s13 does anyone no the average 1/4mile time for this kind of swap i know its a very popular swap now :confused:

Hah, now there's that good 'ol Zilvia welcome. But yeah, search for that stuff man. Supra Forums would probably be your best bet for 1/4 mile times. Not enough 240's with 1JZ's yet.

Anyway, I'm not sure of the 1jz being a popular swap. I've only seen/heard of a couple on these boards. But wahtever. You'll also notice that Zilvia cares not for drag racing. There are a few of us but for the most part no one cares about there 1/4 miles times here.

The Mazworx 240 makes almost 1000hp and is running low 9's. I'd do some research if I were you. Theres a lot of info out there however the drag240sx.com seems to be gone which had lots of info :/

and what i mean bye a bunch is here in orlando ive 4 already with the 1j and drove one to day thats what got me hooked

unless you cannot drive to save your life, 600hp in an s13 on at least drag radials you should see low 11'si went 11.2 on radial with a 450 hp s13

Couldn't tell you about a 1jz...I've heard of several people touching low 12's with a 2jz/BPU. Willing if your claim is true about your HP, you should have a monster on your hands if you have a good suspension and tire combo. Duy's pushed 8's on the stock shortblock on his 2jz with the IRS(don't quote me exactly on this, but it was close).

Keep an eye out for a thread on my build soon when I get mine going, I'll post you some times for a 2jz/bpu/tune.
