Put it on your intake pipe where its supposed to go and you will have no issues. If it stumbles hard or stalls out when the car blow off at idle, adjust the BOV more closed or recirculate it.

if you're gonna do blowthrough maf, put it in the intercooler piping a couple inchs in front of the throttle body like at least 6-8 and i would advise something to tune your car with as it typically may run a little rich. the advantages of blowthrough are not only atmospheric blow off valve with no idle problems since all the air is being metered before it touches the throttle body/plenum, but also you can pop an intercooler coupler and as long as it's before where the maf is you can drive the car wherever you need to so you can address it, instead of stuck on the side of the road right where it happened. i'm all for blow through mafs, hit 22psi then go right into neutral and the idle can drop right to 750 and chill there. no more needing to turn your idle up to 900-1000 to keep it alive.....which saves on gas mileage (for those of you that give a shit about gas mileage in your "hot rod") lol

^^ definately go with him. I loved blow through, but everytime i hit anything over 7 psi the top of the mafs would blow up, i went through a bunch of rtv, 2 mafs, and a bunch of ghetto rigging then i finally gave up and converted back to draw through. Weird thing is, I'm the only person I know of that this has happened to... :-/ . good luck with it.

i personally have never had a problem blowing apart my z32 maf after 2 years of 20+ psi. however a friend of mine's cracked and we epoxied the top on there and he hasn't had a problem since. it IS a possibility that will occur, but that is all u need to do to resolve that.

Agreed. I run a bov vented to the atmosphere and have no problems with running my Z32 on my intake piping.

Just wondering aren't z32 maf and wrx maf the same?

The only reason I ask is because you can swap out the internal off the wrx and put it in to a (already offered by ATP) billet housing. It would be nice to have someone build one of these so we can use in a blow through set up.

Although, I seen people drill holes into their intercooler piping and insert the internal of the maf so they wouldnt use the oem plastic housing.
