Its a HJC AC-12 Yikes 3 graphic, anti-fog visor, "Advanced Composite" = strong + light, DOT+Snell MA2005, cept I thought I was a Large, and its too big :(

You can't beat this price! I bought it BRAND NEW 2 weeks ago, got receipt to prove it, comes w/ helmet bag, still has stickers on it. Pick up in Oakland/Bay Area preferred. Accepting cash, or tires (16-17", 225/55 or smaller]

just fyi, and not to dump on your sale, but driftday, and alot of other organizations, won't allow ma2005, must be sa2005. i found out the hard way when i spent over $200 on a new icon helmet but still ended up having to rent one cuz it wouldn't pass tech. just fyi, nothing against this thread.

I dont think that applies to DA Norcal. Nor many of our events here. I went to all the DDays with my Snell MA2000 and it was fine. The only place I've heard not allowing Snell MA helmets is in competetive racing. I've been to Sears Point and Thunderhill for track days with my MA helment and they dint care.

The only difference between MA and SA is that "Special Application" is fireproof. If you want a fireproof helmet, prepare to pay $500+ for BELL or Pyrotech, etc....

All good. Knowledge is power. TTT

i believe that i read somewhere that special application helmets are made to withstand many small hits I.E. in a roll of the vehicle, while MA helmets are made to withstand one large hit

I think I heard that too, but it really depends on what safety standards the helmet is designed for. For example, SNELL may makeit for multiple impacts, while ECE makes standards favor 1 large impact, while bla bla bla. Either way this is more than sufficient for 90% of us...
