Moneys tight and im looking around for a temp. fix to keep my s13 from swaying like a 85 buick.
I was thinking about just getting a set of decent springs and putting them on my stock struts, this can be done right?
Maybe i can order something like these and ill be good for a couple months?..
help! please..

post a WTB for stock shocks
and get some more factory shocks that arent blown
save ur money up for something decent.
dotn put springs on stock shocks
you'll end up having blown shocks later.
do it right.
do it once.

Springs on stock shocks will turn your body roll into a sickening bouncy oscillation, and it will be even shittier.
Listen to Dousan, he knows his stuff.

Nah don't listen to Dousan he doesn't know anything.
That guy hardparks harder than a HIN car.
Here's what you do. Take a blow torch to your stock springs and problems solved.
Okay I'm kidding. Yeah listen to dousan.

check out the FS areas on the 240sx boards, lots of guys go springs/agx on the way to coilovers.
Search Craigslist too...I see deals on there at times on car stuff from people that don't know forums are out there.
A decent new coilover is going to cost you around $1000 for the set. KTS from SPL Parts are a good choice. Many like Stance. I'd avoid the megan racing/Ksport and the like.
Some springs and AGX you can probably do for around $500-700 new.

Do it right once. I can tell you from experience. And do not buy used suspension period.
