wrong section.

call around. ask for prices. the whole front end is going to be a bit expensive to ship.

what is rep power?

Rep power is the squares with the number that says Rep power, you get them by people adding to your reputation, which is usually done if you say somethin helpful or they juss like what you posted and feel it was good enough to add to your rep, you get red ones when they don't like what you posted and decided it was bad enough to take away from your reputation. My rep is recovering after a dumb thread. Rep power also seems to unofficial be a sign of how much they know, the posters with the super high rep have been here a long while and know a crap load, so if you ever think about arguing with one, juss assume they are right, cuz they prolly are:coolugh:

Oh and to the person who made this thread. You would be much better off searching. Posts like this will get you flamed, for this is a topic that has been talked about over and over. More than likely a Moderator is going to come in here and lock this thread and tell you to search.

you think i didnt search? im not incompetent! the problem is that the pieces are too big for conventional shipping.. but no matter i asked an importer how he does it.. and rep dosnt mean anything to mean.. i use it for the classified and the occasional tech questions regarding my build up.

Might I suggest contacting the shipping methods you know of, give them a weight, a size and a distance, and see which one is cheaper, that way you know off hand.
Example, Federal-"I have XXX item to ship XXX miles, that weighs, XXX how much is it?" "oh its, 600 okay thank you"

Courier-I have XXX item to ship XXX miles, that weighs, XXX how much is it?" "oh its, 550 okay thank you"

Obviously the prices are somethin I threw outta my head but you get the idea of how to get your answer, but to try to help further consider getting the pieces from here instead of overseas, craigslists, the for sale adds probably have a few of what you are lookin for, that way shipping would be cheaper since its in country and dealing with people. I once priced out an entire car to be shipped from CA to GA was roughly a 1000, your pieces are gonna be smaller and weigh less, and you will probably have to ship it less distance, so start from there. Good luck with it all
