I bet your insurance company could answer this 100 times better then anyone on this site could.

Well, I cannot give you specifics because it is impossible to do without a driving record, but I can guarentee you that the Z is ALOT more expensive to insure, especially if it is a 2-seater (2-seater altomatically puts you in one of the highest risk classes)  The quote for the Z vs the 240 I got was about 300-400 more expensive a year. (obviously this will vary among insurance companies)

Insurance cost shouldn't guide you to a car... You should stick to one and do a nice project out of it. &nbsp;I thought about getting a convertable, sr swap, auto to manual swap and silvia front end swap, but when I realised that switching car might just be as expensive, I decided to do the srswap on my current s13.

Don't forget, you don't really know what awaits you in the car you will be buying, while on your current car, you're getting to know her, to know what failed and to know what might fail.

I'm 16, the insurance on the TTZ with one ticket owned me.

Now with the one ticket and a wreck insurance on my s14 is 107/month <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> &nbsp;(1996 5spd)

If you are looking for a ttz motor i can hook you up pretty cheap... if you want to pay shipping. where you from?
