well i was excited when i first see snow everywhere after i finish my first class.. then by the time i go home things changed ... my car was fishtailing for about 20 mins or so <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/unhappy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':unhappy:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/butbut.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':but:'> luckly i was able to keep my car on road. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> however on my way home i see serveral cars pull over and as well as the ones that spun in the middle of the highway <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nervous.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':nervous:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> and they were front wheelies... i feel kinda good to have my car undercontrol so far until the time i got home and start parking my car and i hit the tree with the rear <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/unhappy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':unhappy:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cry.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> .. the good news is that only few scratch and few paint chip off.. and that's my day...

Yeah, I had the bright idea to try and leave home today. Let me tell you, Kumho Supras are not exactly snow tires. I got about 100 feet before I got stuck in the parking lot and had to get a push back into a space. OPh well, I will get pulled out by my roomates truck to go do doughnuts later.
I haven't seen snow in a year <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/unhappy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':unhappy:'>

snow makes my car sleepy. i was doing donuts in the parking lot at work (with the blazer). limited slip differentials rule! snow is fun for a day, then i just get tired of people driving slow when the roads are pretty much cleared up and counting all the mustangs on the side of the road/in ditches gets boring.

Man, we were so lucky....We left "road sledding"then went to my friends house. As soon as we drove by the parking lot we were in, there was a cop in the lot cheinking out the tracks in the lot. Maybe he thought someone was doing donuts...or was he lookingg for us??? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/lookaround.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':look:'>

Here in NC the problem isn't snow. It's ICE. Lots and lots of ice from the freezing rain last night. It's taken down power lines, and trees and branches, which in turn took down more power lines. I could see the flashes out the window from exploding transformers and falling wires. My power was out for 3 hours last night, but many people in my area still have no power. Today Raleigh looked like a war zone. Pieces of trees blocking the roads, almost all of the traffic lights were out. It was interesting. I took some pics.
I call this "S14 and f'ed up trees." I don't know whose car it is or why it was sitting in this lot because the plaza had no power and was shut down.

This is one of the parking spots in front of my apartment. Thank God I parked my S12 on the other side of the street!

The tennis court near my place got nailed, too.

I went out into a parking lot tonight and holy damn was it fun!!!! I will have video tape tomorrow night (my roomie is getting a digital camcorder tomorrow) with fun stuff such as my 240 racing his tacoma (I'll be in reverse) and other such stuff. Even thought I got stuck earlier, I still say snow is the most fun I have had in my car yet!!!

For someone who has grown up in NC, you'd think I'd be used to it by now or have some alternative form of transport...Negative, it started to snow on wed. as I was leaving class... 20 minutes and I was no where near the house and this shit was getting thick fast. I probably could have made it home, but I wouldn't have been able to get the car out of my yard til like tuesday (I live in the boondocks) so I left it over my boy's house til this morning, where it took me any my brother 30 minutes to get the ice off of her, but I'm back on the road now.

Love the snow, especially going into residential areas. The plows/sanders/salters never get there till last. Fun to drift through the corners. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
