Ok so i just got done doing extended lugs and

I started getting vibration in my steering when i test drove it so i took off everything.
I put my perfectly good 17's on. Took off my spacers, all the spacers are off.

Got a alignment

So when im going down the freeway and hit about 60mph my steering wheel starts vibrating/shaking back and forth not alot but enough to see my hands go back and forth when im driving.

I am going to go get my tires balanced tomorrow but these are the only rims and tires i have so i think they are fine.

I have no idea whats wrong every bolt is tight.

This never happened to me before.

what condition are your tension rods in?

What Car are you driving?

Did you install your wheel studs correctly? Are they seated completely? Are they the correct studs?

4-lug and 5-lug Nissan wheel studs (i'm guessing you drive one) are different.

Could possibly be wheel bearings.

j/w did you rotate the wheels right before the vibration started?

Driving a s13, and yes i installed the studs correctly. Circuit sports 60mm for a s13 4 lug 12x1.25 thread pitch.

I didnt change the tires before taking them off so i figured i should be fine.

Are your spacers hub centric?

I had the same thing at around 55 mph.

I had to replace the tires because of camber wear. Balanced it and it was fine after that.

i have the same problem around 65mph tho, took it to the alignment shop and they say its was my front tires because of camber wear. just get new tires and balance them and you should be good.

The tires are brand new. No wear. Got them from America's tire.

I am going back tomorrow to balance again.

After that checking the tie ends to make sure they are tight and all in place if that doesnt work.

I will be back again.

IM having the same problem with my s14... with me it was my tension control rod bushings and my tie rods. But if it was fine before the swap I doubt your problem is the same.

Balancing should solve it, but keep us posted either way
