Paint Question

i want to paint my roof, theres a bit rust so after im done removing it ima need 2 paint the roof.. but i want it black.. my question is how would it look flat black?? and if i dont like how it comes out ..if clear coat the crap out of the roof would it look glossy or wud it stay flat?

does any1 know?

just paint it gloss black... flat black will look like utter shit

flat black never looks good unless its satin and done really well... and it especially will look bad when your car is half-gloss-half-flat

do it if you want though... not my car

if the clear flakes off it would look flat.. and yeah basicly what Slothonaleash, said it would look awkward with the roof flat and the rest gloss.
I say kill the rust and go gloss black on the roof if you want it black.
