does anybody know where i can find a full ca18det swap? ive checked ebay and stuff but nobody seems to have a clean full swap. it wouldnt be a right away thing, i need to raise some cash, but im just wondering if anybody knows where i can get one. preferably in FL so i can pick it up, but it doesnt have to be. thanks

why may i ask r u doing a CA18 swap? I have one. Don't get me wrong, I love it. It's just hard to find parts for them. If I wasn't in the industry, I would have gone crazy by now.

idk man, just for something different. i have friends with rb's, sr's, chevy v8's ect. i dont know anybody with a ca. and im not looking for 600 hp, just something thats light, will respond well to bolt ons, and will be fun. from what ive read, the CA will do exactly that. and they seem generally cheaper for a full swap then an SR.

is it a CA20 bottom end ?

on the rebuild did you hone it or do a mild overbore ?

bored 1mm (.040) over for tomei forged pistons

wow that is kinda of extream for an overbore on a CA18 motor. man those tomei postions are a very rare item even in japan. what are the T/q specs for the crankshaft main bolts ?

whats the cold compression on the motor ? and compression with the different pistons?
