Hey all Ive been looking for this info on the net, I sort of need it sooner than later, because I dont have time to profile the cams and see myself, its for a school project, If anyone knows what the stock max lift is (in inches preferably) and maybe a few other max lifts for aftermarket cams (like hks 264's pon cams etc..... ) would be amazing. If you cant find the aftermarket ones the stock one will work fine.
thanks in advance.

Max lift? Stock lift is something like 9.5 or 10. HKS step 1s are 10.5, step 2s are 11.5. Tome'is are anything from 11.5-12.5. BC seems to try to knock off Tomei lifts, so theyre similar in specs.

after converting that to inches it looks right ... stock lift seems to be about .38-.39" the cam specs help too man good looking out.

Related question....how much lift can be safely run before you need to go with solid lifters?

I am in the market for cams/springs and want to stay with the stock hydraulic lash adjusters

not sure..... I mean i have heard of normal lifters on the hks spec 2 cams, but thats with obvious spring upgrade and whatnot, I would assume something at tomei's lifts would warrant a solid lifter (they sell em for a reason i assume). So it all depends on the cams i guess.

Yah that's what I figured...I guess the HKS steps 2s are okay then with spring upgrade....they are 11.5 IIRC
