Best Chinese/Japanese food =open 24hrs= (or open late)

So the burger thread has worked out fairly well for me, but my problem is this: I can find a decent burger at all hours. I can get pizza until about midnight, delivered even. I can't get any goddamn Chinese after 9pm!!! Japanese should also qualify, 'cause I know there are some Chinese-style Teriyaki houses around.

The only decent Chinese places around Alhambra are Panda Express (not even Chinese) on Fair Oaks, and a couple sit-down style restaurants (one on Main and a couple on Valley), but seeing as how I'm not into Thai or sit-down stuff this late at night, they're of no help.

Anything close to South Pasadena would be great, but I think we can get a good list going to include East and West LA, the Valley, etc. Do it!

just drive down valley blvd, exit anywhere from delmar to Garfield, there's a grip of cafe type chinese places, some open till 4am.

Notable ones are:

JR cafe near new avenue

and

Garden Cafe which iirc is near garfield.

There's also lots of small places like phoenix Cafe and Shou Mei's (both chains).

The places on Valley are all Thai sit-down style shit... I dont dig Thai, and I want fast-food style "yeah I'll have a 2 item, with chow mien and fried rice, blah blah blah" when it's midnight and I'm jones'n.

I'll have to give JR a peek, Jack actually took me to Garden Cafe and it was aiight (for a sit-down place).

I'm chinese.. I know a lots place open late but you sure you can accept the REAL REAL chinese food?? Will they are WAY better than Yoshinoya, Panda Express... any other.

Here is my list:

1) Garden IN Arcadia on Balwin Ave (Open till 4 on Friday and Saturday)
2) Indian Beer House San Gabriel near New Ave i belive.. Open till 12mid-night (traditional Taiwanese Beer House) *Really Good!!
3) THis one is in Life Plaza, Ken Pai same style as Indian * GOOD
4) *Phoenix (220 E. Valley Blvd, Alhambra, California, 91801) Open till 2 A.M
* Try This one you might like it or not... will most my color friend likes it. I always go to the one in Rowland Heights on Nogales and Colima

1) There a Korean BBQ place open 24HR!! TRY IT.. In Rowland Height off Fullerton 1 block from Life plaza. In the same plaza with Yoshinoya!! ... next to a Forzen yogur, always go there after clubing lol

2) This one doesn't open late but ITS DAMN GOOD!! It is a Japanese Noodle place in Hacienda, this place call "fong fong tine" its in a little resident street (yeah weird) but its GOOD!!! PM me for more info.
Plus, I belive there some coupe Japan drifter been there before.
*Be sure arrive 40 to 50 mins ahead otherwise its a long wait
