New PS3 Metal Gear Solid Bundle

Hey guys, so I've been looking around to buy a ps3 as my graduation present for myself in a few weeks. But after finding this, I'll hold off for a couple of months. So, for those who's planning on buying a ps3 soon, heres the new bundle thats coming out. Its the 80gb version that includes Metal Gear Solid 4 and the dual shock 3 controller. Playstation announced it would be available some time in June. MSRP is set at $500.

They have a limited edition PS3 like that, although getting a hold of one I imagine will be near impossible since very few of them came to the US, and they are already sold out in Japan.

I preordered this game a couple weeks ago to get into the beta test of Metal Gear Online, I just got it downloaded to my PS3, but you have to register for a "Konami ID and Game ID" besides your PSN ID, and the website has so much traffic it has been a royal pain in the ass. I would preorder it if you can, the beta starts on Monday, although when you do ask if they have the saga dvd because if not then there is no point.

I heard the 40gb models cannot play PS2 games, can anyone confirm this...?

haha, konami sucks.

i emailed konami if that gunmetal bundle would be available in germany. only thing they answered:

"Dear customer,

thank you for your enquiry. unfortunately we can't say anything at this point. "

blablabla.

fuck konami, a simple yes or no would've been enough, i don't understand why this is such a super secret big deal so you can't even tell a customer?

i should stop ranting.
