I know this is on a BMW, but it is for a widebody I am building, and I need some opinions and feedback from you guys.

Here's a picture of how the fronts fit. This is with a 18x11.5 ET14 wheel and a 25mm adapter, making it a ET-11 wheel. The wheel is lowered onto a piece of wood, so it's not sitting in the air.

Here are the rears. They are 18x12 ET-4 with 25mm adapters as well.

I am thinking of having the rears come out about 20mm more, to be more flush.

However, my main concern is in the front. How much do you guys think it is sticking out by? I can get another set up front that will stick in by 10mm. Think that would be decent or enough?

thanks.

i agree with an extra 20mm in the rear, atleast... thats sunken in pretty bad... going with the 10 in the front and a little camber it should be good ;)

The rears are ET-4 with a 25mm adapter. The wheels were VSXX, but I want to run meisters.

Here's the only picture I have of it, the car is getting painted right now.

Yeah. you got the idea. fronts in a little, and rears out more than a little. Just my opinion though.

Also with the stretching thing, I am just worried the tire/wheel might hit the fiberglass fenders and crack them.

The fenders have a slight lip on the inside of them, so it's not perfectly flat at the fender's edge.

Fronts look fine...once you put tires on (stretch of course) and lower it back down, it should tuck right in

rears need 30mm more give or take...try and get a better wheel instead of fixing it w/ spacer

The front is lowered back down. I lowered the wheel onto a piece of wood.

I am not running spacers to fit the fitment. I am running adapters, since I am running 5x114.3 wheels on a 5x120 BMW hub.

I would play around with spacers to get the right fitment... then do the math and order the correct wheels for this wide body. It seems like you are making the wheels fit the car... not the other way around. Im sure you could just cut the lip on the inner side of the fenders to make the wheel sit as flush as possible. Great looking build!

Does anyone know if the Meisters and the VSXX fit any differently from each other?

When I first test fitted the Meisters on the car, they were 18x10 ET-34. Compared to the 18x11.5 ET-11 as seen in those pictures above.

However, the Meisters stuck out an extra inch. I would figure whatever differences there are in the wheel's face, it would be calculated into the wheel's specs on the sticker, right?
