Ok so I have an S14 and just got a set of Gram Lights 18-9.5 +12. I was wondering on suggestions on tires. What will clear suspension? I was told 265 is "square" for 9.5 but I am not sure if that will clear the front suspension. So maybe 245? Maybe stagger maybe not. What are some suggestions?

Just curious, are those 57 Maximums T.A. on your car?

Im running 235/40 18s on my 9.5j +12. If you decide to stay with the 255, make sure its a 35 sidewall. Also what suspension are you using, how low your car is and what kinda tire will dictate on whether or not the tire will rub the suspension.

I have HKS Hypermax RS coilovers, and Peak Performance RUCAS, Toe Rods, and Tension rods. As for ride height, it will be high until I figure out fenders, but whatever I can roll high for a few weeks. And I am getting Toyo tires. Right now my thoughts are 265-356 rear 245-35 front. Sound good?

my cr kai's are the same width an off set...i run a 225/40 :cool:

i suggest 255 40 or 35 front and rear if they were staggered i would suggest more in the rear

get some sideskirts and a rear bumper, and your car will look mean as hell!


as for tires, i would run 235/35 and 255/35

i have 225 40 on my 18x9 right now and they are not enough front tire for my car and 255 will fit on s14 with some roll

Why are you guys suggesting staggering tires on the same sized wheels?
Thats a horrible idea.

235/40/18 all the way around.

Ok so I am thinking either 255 or 245 all the way around. Just hope the 255 will clear suspension.
