i just had my new german spec glass headlight installed on my 95 s14, and i hear that they comes with different high beam compare to the U.S spec. there are 3 plug on the german-spec headlight, one is for the headlight, and one is for auto adjust angle, and what's the last one for? does any body know? i didnt use the high beam for my german-spec headlight coz the plug is different, but when i turn on my high beam it's still work.

so.....is german-spec use same high low beam with the U.S spec low beam plug? also what's the last plug for? is that the buildin fog light? where can i find the plug to make it work?

Google, because I found it some where, I think the plugs are different but that was along tme ago. One of the shops who sold them explained how to get them to work also.

I find it sad you own a car yet know nothing about it. Your headlight, both the US and German one, has two bulbs each. The outer bulb is a dual filament for both low and high beam operation. The inner bulb is a single filament, high beam only. With the high beams on all four bulbs light up. Not having the correct plug is no excuse since it's only two wires, just cut and splice. It's also the same plug as a US spec Kouki light.

And no, there are no foglights in the headlights.

In the year i've owned my current s14 i've never changed the headlight bulbs, and if i hadn't read threads like this or looked at the headlights from the front when the high beams are on, i wouldn't know exactly how they worked either.

The owner's manual tells you all you need to know. Not saying you should read it when you buy a car, but skimming over to learn bulb sizes, fluid capacities, etc. can't hurt.
Sure as hell would cut down on clutter online.
