well my 240 was in a accident and while it was in the shop the clutch gave out. as in gave out i mean that the petal is stuck to the bottom of the floor. when you lift it back up it just fall back down again. what could it be?

Check for fluid in your master cylinder. If it's empty, then you have a major leak somewhere. Your pedal falls straight to the ground already implies air in the system, so check:
Clutch Master Cylinder
Clutch Slave Cylinder
Clutch Lines
Good luck.

Drift--mine did the same exact thing a few months ago. My clutch master cylinder was shot. Hopefully you just got some air in the lines, or you just have a leak, but replacing the master & slave cylinders doesn't cost too much--was $250 for mine (parts and labor & bleeding the lines & new fluid).
you what they said...if it's doing that you have a hydrualic leak some where...check the master cylinder out and the slave...good luck
