Looking for TC rods to chose from and there seems to be an abundance of different brands for the s13. What is the best in peoples opinion for the price? Little help would be great I need to change out the stock ones by the end of the week, there leaking goo from the rubber.
Courtesy Nissan seems to sell them pretty cheap I was looking on possibly buying the power brace they sell as well.
I need something stiff, but not to rough on the steering with maximum control.
Or should I just leave the stocker rods in and get the poly T/C rod bushings through PDM for $22?

I've had a pair of spl tension rods for about 6 months and I love them.

Well you have a few good options here and it really depends on what you do with your car. If your already running other heim joints go with the spl's hands down. If your running stock suspension, poly bushings i'd just get you poly bushings for your traction rods. Heim joins will stiffen you up a tad, but from the difference i've felt from poly t/c rods and heim t/c rods installed isnt much difference. It's a tad stiffer with the heims. You said you wanted something not to stiff, your proly better with just the poly bushings. save you a fortune for something more beneficial to you anyhow.
Couple things you gota look at. This doesnt apply if you got other heim joints or if you dont race, but if this will be your first i hear this will put you in a bracket you dont want to be in in some competition events. Also if your gona buy heims get the quality stuff. dont risk your life on cheap stuff. My buddy had some cheap toe rods and they bent just under normal drive conditions and i've seen where the cheap pillowballs just tear apart.
SPL hands down is the best they make IMHO. But i here battle version, and cusco are the same quality, as well i've heard nothing but good stuff about max stuff. The 30 dollars difference between max's and spl dont justify not buying the spls though.
Good luck, just do some research and see what best fits your application.
Oh dont forget if you do alot of street racing heims might be worth the added cost. Rear bump stear adjustment is good incase of bumpy roads. Just another consideration.
