i got 600 for the stimulus plan..your accountant should tell you or you should have received a letter in the mail stating if you are eligible for it or not..

Got the letter in the mail, stated I was eligible. It also said people who filed and did direct deposit will get their money deposited in their banks in the beginning of May.

why are you expecting only 300? if you are a dependent or live with your family, i think it will be part of your dependent's tax return..

I did my taxes for 07 and I got my returns already. But I never herd anything on getting an extra 600 june.
How do I know if I'm getting it an is there a form I have too fill out????

long as u made over $3k income, you will get it , they will just send it to you, you dont have to send any forms or anything. You shoulda got a paper in the mail saying when they are gonna send yours. If you originally set up for direct deposite when you did your taxes, then it will auto deposited.

I might consider investing it into something, or apply it to pay off credit cards

I'm getting back like $4k + $1200 for stimulus plan. Mortgage interest deductions ftw.

Not going to spend it on a damned thing, socking it away into a CD or something until I can find a way to earn a better return (will probably pool it with bonus money at xmas and reinvest in something, maybe downpayment on investment property if rates are still low).
