need quick vlsd answer!

im about to hit the junk yard and i need to know what j30 vlsd to get, for my s13. the one with 5 or 6 bolt shafts. which is better and easyer to install? what do i need other than the diff itself? dont have much time to search "sorry" so quick answers would be greatly appreciated.

6 bolt is easiest. The 5 bolt requires to get 5 bolt axles. A stock USDM S13 has 6 bolt axles.

If it was up to me though, I would get a 300zx NA diff and get some 5 bolt j30 axles just to keep the FD.

'90-'96 300ZX NA for the diff. '92-'94 for the 5 bolt j30 axles.
