ok so heres the story. i got my car painted and fitted with a kit and widebody. origin 50mm in the rear. what happend was on the gas cap side the pushed the fender in untill the gascap cutout hit the body and then riveted it on like that. perfect. it looks sick and fits great. but on the other side they compressed the fender and not the drivers side is just over half an inch less wide. i've just let the shop know about it and i'm awaiting their call but how can this even be fixed? now that all the holes have been drilled and rivited? does this mean they now have to drill out all the rivets weld and grind all the holes back up and then repaint the whole quarter panel?

Ya, it's gonna have to be re-done. You'd think they'd make sure they were even widths... kinda really extremely important when doing this sort of thing.
You're also supposed to fit the fenders to the wheels, not the other way around. Your wide wheels should be on the car, then you mount the fenders accordingly. I'm assuming these pathetic losers didn't even cut the stock fenders either.

yea thats weird
it should be redone unless you want a lop-sided car
holes and all that shouldn't have to be filled ground down since its under the panel. and make some brackets so the gas door sits flush and re-hang the fenders. done and done. goodluck.
