View Full Version : S13 Custom Cluster

I made a custom cluster out of 4 Defi 52mm, 1 Defi 80mm and 2 52mm Cyberdyne. I used the Stock Cluster Shell and put a piece of 3mm 2x2 Twill Carbon in to mount every thing too. Instead of writing out everything, Ill let you make assumptions of how I did things...like whether I melted the hot glue with a waffle iron or a microwave.
Yes...I know...I destroyed a S13 Digital Cluster. I'M SORRY!

I would personally rewire the Odometer down maybe into the under plastic below the steering wheel maybe? Just lengthen the wires, I'm not sure how the signal to that electric motor is routed, I'm sure its through the speedometer, so you may have to keep that whole speedo assembly?
how did you make the fuel gauge work? what range of ohms is it?
It is a "Ford" range 0-70 Ohms which is like 4 Ohms off the Nissan range. It can read up to a 55 Gal tank and you calibrate it down to of course 15-16(depending on your opinion on usable fuel). Then it will read accurately.
Sweet! Looks really good, where did you get that piece of twill carbon? I want to make a gauge bezel.
It was like $80 shipped for that 24"x12"x2.7mm. http://compositeenvisions.com/

They look bright because theyre not dimmed. : )

The switch panel is press fitted into where the center vents are. From left to right, Ignition, Push-to-Start, Coils and Injectors(when I go Electromotive soon), Accessories, Headlights and Blower Motor for now.

I wired it inline of the stock S13 Sending Unit.

the odometer is wired off of the speedometer. On a HUD cluser if ther HUD stops working the Odometer stops working. So maybe theres a way to wire it to a aftermarket speedo
