anyways this might be a dumb question but my dohc pan is fubar, so basically what i want to know is if i can use a sohc pan on a dohc motor? thanks.

no.... the fronts of the pans are diffrent. single slanted a bit and dual is flush ..

so youre saying no i cant use a sohc pan on a dohc cause its slanted? and the dohc is flush? with what?
ive searched but ive found very mixed answers. some say it woks some say it wont.

the front of the single cammers is slanted its not squared up to the front of the block..so if you try to use it on a dual cammer you have a gaping hole...so no..
