What a life, to have to choose between a '57 chevy and a Caddy XLR. Looks freaking cool.

mmmm. The car he is using started out as a running and driving XLR with 24,000 miles on it. That like a 35-40k car

Good lord. That's going to be 1 sick car but damn what a price to pay for a shell. I wonder if you can call up Mr. Caddy and just order a shell from the factory without the guts? Probably not. I think I would have looked for 1 with a blown engine or something. But to each his own. If he has the cash to do it then more power to him. Bad ass

I was thinking the same thing, he should have just bought all the body panels and slapped them on the tube chassis, but when you have that much money I guess it doesn't matter.

Cool nonetheless though.

after looking around on that site, is seems like more than a few of those guys have cash to throw out the windows going down the interstate if they felt like it...its a cool concept, but i wouldve gone after a junked one and called it a day...

There are rules for the outlaw 10.5 class. I do not know them all. But from what I understand. The "body" you use has to be a original car. Not just plastics.

He could probably get on a cadillac commercial after he's done with it so help absorb some of the cost of the build.
