Ok, but I am not sure why this in tech talk....are you asking something, or just showing us a picture of your engine bay?

fresh wire loom and electrical tape can help too.

things to do:
•clean up the wiring, no loose wires. Run the maf wiring infront of the radiator. the only wiring crossing the front of the valve cover is the wiring for the CAS.
•get a sr radiator. get rid of the crossover crap.
•buy a bench grinder and put a wire brush wheel on it, and also a copper wire brush. clean everything you can on the engine. use whatever you can - brake clean, purple power, degreaser foam, etc etc. be creative.
•clean the bay itself. brake clean (chlorine free, wont affect the paint.) and then wax the bay and the valve cover.
just think of ways to route stuff way before you do it. im always thinking of ways to hide hoses and wires, but still being able to get to them fairly easily.

do you guys have the battery routed to the rear, or do you have the smaller "racing type" battery?

It DOES NOT MATTER.
Make up your mind on what you like best, then execute it.
Personally i have it relocated in my headers, uber sweet sounding battery
